Welcome to the new More Than Games.
It’s been a hot minute – a little over 15 years for those of you keeping score at home – since my beloved retail store closed its doors. You probably noticed that the new place here isn’t quite the same as we had before.
And you’re right.
I can’t bring back the retail store like it was, but the store’s spirit definitely lives on here, in its namesake website.
In these pages, you’ll find game reviews, tips on picking, playing, and enjoying games with your family and friends, and insights about games in education, business, and beyond. Oh, I’ll probably throw in random news headlines about the game industry, but that’s kinda secondary to what I plan to do here, so it really depends on my mood at the time.
It may have been a while since we enjoyed the store together, but I still believe in our store’s core: Games bring people together. It was true then, and it’s still true now.
And I’m still out to change the way the world plays. I’m gonna do it, too.
